It's about the first jazz band to perform at the White House, which was not in the 1960s, as previously thought, but in 1924. This was Ray Miller's Orchestra, which at the time included such notables as Miff Mole and Frank Trumbauer, accompanying Al Jolson in a 1924 campaign appearance for Calvin Coolidge on the White House lawn.
